Top 4 Countries to Visit in Asia

Thailand

It’s no secret that Asia is the biggest continent in the world, and one of the most diverse continents. This implies that there’s an overwhelming amount of visiting that can be done, but what are the best countries to visit in Asia? Don’t worry, this blog will cover the top four countries (in no particular order) that you should consider when planning your next visit to Asia!

1. JAPAN

Japan deserves a spot on the list because it’s one of the countries in Asia where it has something for everyone, including ultra-urban cities as well as lush and peaceful naturescapes and mountains. The most famous city to visit in Japan is Tokyo, the capital and the most populated city in not just Asia, but the entire world. With a fascinating culture, you can immerse yourself in Japan’s culture through their language, food, and seasonal festivals. Additionally, Japan is also popular for its nature, most famously, Mount Fuji, a breathtaking mountain with views good enough for any type of wallpaper on a phone. Japan has so much more, but that was a quick description of what Japan has to offer, and why it deserves a spot on this list.

2. CHINA

China, one of the biggest countries in Asia, is one of the most toured countries in the world. It’s no secret why; the culture and the attractions to see are some of the greatest on Earth. For example, the Great Wall of China is one of the marvellous sights that you can visit in China; with a wall nearly the same length as almost half the United States, as well as an interesting background and history, this attraction definitely made it easy for us to put China on our top four list. There is also the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square to see, and you can’t forget seeing some pandas! Overall, China is definitely worth a visit and a spot on our list.

3. INDIA

Another country that got a spot on our list is India. Located in the central south of Asia, India has an extremely deep and rich history, as well as a lot of places to visit within the country. With over a billion people living there, and one of the largest countries in the world, India is massive; and with that, comes countless things to do as well. Some of the most famous landmarks include the Taj Mahal in Agra, as well as the Gateway of India in Mumbai. Some of the most popular cities to visit are New Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Chennai, and the list goes on. Each city and region of India is also extremely diverse, with languages, foods(especially Biryani), and things to see and do being all different depending on the region that you are in. This makes India a wonderful place to visit, and thus gets a spot on the list.

4. THAILAND

The last country on our list, but equally as impressive, is Thailand. Thailand is located in southeast Asia, and Bangkok is the capital and one of the key cities that are worth visiting. There are a lot of attractions in Bangkok in general, such as famous landmarks like the Grand Palace. Not only is Thai food generally said to be amazing, but there are a lot of temples that you can also visit, which are beautiful from the outside and inside. There are also some ancient Khmer monuments from Thailand’s history long ago that are nice to visit. Once you visit Bangkok, you can go boating and kayaking on the crystal blue waters and see some islands, which is simply one of the most breathtaking sights in the world. In general, Thailand is a wonderful country to visit, earning our last spot on the list.

Wrapping up, these are our choices for the best countries to visit in Asia. With such diversity among cultures, geography, and more, Asia is definitely a continent worth visiting, and if so, these countries should be at the top of your list!
